You can't tell I like sunsets, can you? :) This May 1991 shot looks across Gunflint Lake from our campsite at the Gunflint Pines resort. The sunsets we had that week were spectacular. This one was no exception. With the clouds as they were on the Canadian side of the lake, it almost looks like a mountain range in this photo. The photo is way too dark in the middle, but the rest of it is so pretty that I've included it here.
This photo was taken with a Honeywell Pentax SP-1000 (Spotmatic) camera using an 80-200mm zoom lens and Ektar 100 film.
The digital image was created by scanning it on a Mac (courtesy of my sister, Deb Parker) and then converting and retouching it using Adobe Photo Deluxe and Paint Shop Pro for Windows.
