Being a noctournal type, I don't get to see sights like this one too often. I took this picture in July 1979. This Lake Superior sunrise scene was captured near the mouth of the Cross River at Shroeder, Minnesota. I spent quite a bit of time on that vacation trying to figure out how I might get out to that rock so I could sit on it. Never made it though... oh well!
This photo was taken with a Honeywell Pentax SP-1000 (Spotmatic) camera using an 80-200mm zoom lens and Kodacolor 200 film.
The digital image was created by having it put on on Photo CD, then converting and retouching it using Corel Photo Paint 5 and Paint Shop Pro for Windows.
