I would have graduated in 1965, however, I dropped out. School was never easy for me so to cover it up, I was a misfit. I'm still living in the area, happy and loving my life more and more. I'm a Christian and have been for many years. I was married for 13 years, no children.
I'm a non comforming materials coordinator for a company not far from my home. If anyone remembers me from school, please send me an e-mail. I would love to hear from you.

Other: After three years in the Peace Corps in India and Brazil, I stayed on in the latter teaching English for about 13 years. I'm currently a software developer for the US Postal Service. After college, married young and raised my family in Burnsville.
Remarried 2002, relocated to Texas 2003.Missing MN summers, NOT the winters!!Mom to 2 wonderful kids both in Burnsville, and to 2 amazing grandkids also in B'Ville. Also bonus daughter in Fla with 2 bonus grandkids there as well.

Still working ... 39 years as an RN, now in education with a manufacturer of medical products. Lots of travel with career!

Other: I dropped out of U of M in '66, got drafted (but was able to join the Navy) and spent 3 years on the USS FORRESTAL (that's the aircraft carrier that burned up in the Gulf of Tonkin) as an Electronic Tech. Then finally graduated from the U of IL thanks to the GI Bill, married my bride (Jan) of 34 yrs and have 3 sons, 2 daughters and a grandson. I have my own Manufacturer's Rep business (Semiconductors) and my brother (Don) and I own a Firestone Tire dealership as the silent partner. You can't run a business with a relative and remain friends. I finally got a Corvette, a 1954, then a 1967. I try to play golf every day in the summer and usually do.

I joined US Coast Guard in 1966, spent 1969 as a boat driver on Mekong Delta Gunboat.

We moved to Baldwin in 1974, we have one son, CPT Mike serving active duty in US Army and is married to his HS Sweetheart, Katie who recently graduated from KUMC Medical School and is an US Army M.D. Also, we have two daughters, Missy and Megan, who both reside in MPLS. I am still slugging it out at XCEL's Prairie Island Nuke, in Red Wing, one out of 600 souls helping to make electricity and saving enough bread to retire. In Fall 2003, Ann, Mike and I returned to the Mekong Delta in Vietnam for about two weeks..........wonderful experience, we would recommend a tour to any person who served 'in-country'....... See ya all in October.........

Criminal Investigation Division, then to various federal/state law enforcement agencies and task forces(D.C, CA, Latin America,Mexico). Who would of guess punks like Bobo Patrick (Class of 65) and me would get into law enforcement. Go figure.

Other: After graduation, I entered the US Army, spent the first 6 months in at bases here in the States, then it was off to what we then called West Germany for the rest of my 4 years of active duty. I am currently working as a Mailing Dept. supervisor for a direct mailing firm in Minnetonka, and looking forward to retirement. Other: Joined the Army in Dec. 1965, spent 3years there. Went to work for NWA for about 3 years while getting my commercial pilots liscense. Moved around the country flying air freight, charter, corporate jet, Director of operations for a commuter airline in Kansas City, was a factory test pilot and demonstration pilot for a Spanish aircraft manufacture and then did the same thing for British Aerospace for a few years. Moved to Bismarck in 1991, managed an air charter operation then semi retired and now sell Real Estate for a Century 21 office. I am married for the 3rd time, Took me a while to get the hang of it. Between us we have 4 children, her 1, me 3, and we have 9 grandchildren.

Other: Wow, been a long time since I thought about High School! Makes me feel old :(

I was extremely shy and only had a few close friends. Was the kid lots of the bullies picked on ..sob...sob... Now very outgoing almost the opposite. Many of us change personalities as we age and mature (still can't spell however).

As I bet the case with many, we wish we were more like we are now back in our HS days. I would have enjoyed it a lot more.

But have very much enjoyed life, graduated UofM with Accounting degree, worked with CPA firms, formed by own Tax firm and now for 20+ years specialized in Financial planning as a CFP and investments.

Have many other interests and very busy. Had enough of Minnesota cold winters and hot and humid summers to moved to Phoenix AZ in 1988. Enjoy it here other than for about 3 months of hot-hot (but dry)

Married young and have been happy resingled for zillions of years now, no kids (that I know of...:(..that is a joke!).

I will try and make the RHS 50th reunion.

Other: I am married, since 1968, and have eight wonderful children...five girls and three boys. I went back to school in 1988 (better late than never) and earned a degree in Interior Design at JCCC and a degree in Magazine Journalism at William Allen White School of Journalism, University of Kansas. GO JAYHAWKS!!!
I wrote freelance for a business magazine approximately a year and a half, before they went to all in-house writing.
Although I did not graduate from Richfield High School, :-( sniff, you'll find me in the yearbook through junior year...I was a flag twirler. I went all through grade school and high school in Richfield until my senior year, at which time my parents moved to Burnsville. My heart and my friends were in Richfield and I've missed the contact and the news.

Other: Working as a Tribal Gaming Regulatory Agent for the past 12 years. The Skagit Valley Casino Resort in Bow, Washington, just south of Bellingham. Joined the Army in '66. Served active until '69 and inactive reserve until '72. Honorably discharged as a Sgt. E-5 in the Infantry. Spent 19 months in Korea, served as a squad leader and platoon Sergeant and was involved in action during the Pueblo Crisis era. Am now married to a lady from Lima, Peru. Have made four trips down there. Played softball till I was 47. Work schedule interrupted that. Bowhunter, coin and sports card collections. Own a few military rifles, one being an M-14 like I carried in Korea. Have built houses,(framer and finish carpenter for 5 years), still build decks on the side. Fixed and painted cars(worked 13 years in a body shop), was a California State Humane Officer for 5 years, Navy Security Police for 5 years.....little bit of a lot of things.....Really enjoying the Northwest but may retire to Peru....money goes a long way down there... LOL

Other: As of 12/02 living the words of that old John Prine song: "Blow up your TV, throw away your paper, move to the country and build you a home." Living on twenty four acres between the BWCAW and Lake Superior. Working when I want to, making some pottery, brewing my own beer and playing my drum kit as loud as I please. Moose for pets, no neighbors in sight and only one stoplight in all of Cook County. Should have done this in July of 1965.

Other: Life has been a bowl of cherries... literally and figuratively. Attended the U of M and, after an interruption by the Army, I managed to graduate with a degree in Architecture. Of course, that didn't do me much good because I've spend my entire carreer in the grocery business. Worked for Red Owl and now for Supervalu in the Corporate Produce Office (see first line of text). Married for almost 32 yrs to the same wonderful lady. Two boys and one daughter -in-law. Youngest son is attending Bemidji State. Spend as much time as possible (never enough) at my lake home north of Brainerd were I plan on spending the "golden years".

Other: At this time, I am director of a small transit system in northern Minnesota. My wife of 29 years is a Registered Nurse. Our two daughters are married and on their own.
Presently, we are remodeling our house, originally built in 1915, and updating it to fit our more modern lifetyle.
Hobbies? I am rebuilding a car used in two movies and hope to show it sometime this next year. Photography is still there but is on the back burner until our house is done.

Other: Hello everyone. After graduation, I went to Moorhead State (now Minnesota State University-Moorhead). (Fellow classmate, Jean Skoglund went there as well). Graduated in December 1969 with a B. A. in Geography. Went into the Army right after classes were over. After basic and advanced training, I was sent to Ft. Campbell, KY. Decided to stay in and wound spending almost 14 years on active duty; two tours in Germany, and tours at Ft. Hood TX and lastly in Washington DC. Got out of the Army in 1982 to work for the federal government doing what I had been doing in the Army (imagery analysis). Stayed in the Army Reserves, and retired from the reserves in 1992. I'll finally be able to start getting the retirement pay in October!! Married in 1993 to Susan; we have two cats. My job took us to St. Louis in August 2001. I had attended the 1985 reunion but lost touch again, so I missed the 2005 reunion. I enjoy reading, movies, and watching sports.

I tried retirement for a while..summers were great..winters boered me stiff, so found someone to hire an old fool and am now back to work. When Vicki gets a little closer to retirement age, we plan on moving onto the boat a leaving for Venezuela. The trip sounds fun, and if we make it there, so much the better.

Other: Recently received notification of the class of " 65"s 40th HS reunion..WOW! Some of you may remember, I left school in March before graduation, quite pregnant! Married at 17 and obtained RHS diploma, via night school classes. Eventually had 5 children. After the children were in school, I continued my education, obtaining 2 Master's (Couldn't make up my mind) and eventually an Advanced Practice Degree as a Clinical Nurse Specialist. Spent much of my nursing career working in public health with underserved communities, specializing in diabetes management. Divorced my first love and remarried an equally wonderful man. Currently, have 10 grandchildren happily married and living in sunny Charleston, SC. Just quit working for awhile (taking a break) but will go back to the Medical University of South Carolina, where I worked previously. My husband and I enjoy our life in the South. We're 5 minutes from the ocean, so it allows for lots of beach walks. My husband and I both enjoy running, as we can do it here year round. Active in Church and surrounded by good friends, our lives have been blessed.
Sorry I won't be attending the 40th reunion.

Other: At RHS I started playing music with the Rave-Ons. (You might've caught us at Miller's Fireside Pizza). After high school I went to U of M and Globe Business College. Spent lot of time working as a professional musician. Still am one today. Went on to work with Crow and many other musical projects. Moved to Chicago, Los Angeles for a while. Working with RCA Records. Moved back to Minnesota in 1977. Got married, have two great kids. Have been working with American Air Lines in Minneapolis as a fleet service clerk . Many changes but life has been good to me so far. Have many good memories of RHS.

Other: After working for AT&T for 31 years in Minneapolis as a National Account Manager I retired in 1997 and moved to Las Cruces New Mexico.
I have two daughters, one lives near Northfield, at our lake home and the second lives in Adell Wi. I have 2 grandsons that also live in Wi.
Now that the real work is over I play golf 6 days a week,ride my Harly and enjoy the year round great weather in New Mexico.
