Other: Working at a place called Stongwell, in Chatfield, Mn. We make fiberglass pultrusions. Been there 12 years now. Done alot of stuff since graduating and lived in Montana, Brainerd,back to Eagan and then down here. Had 3 kids a boy and two girls, been down the married path but guess it wasnt my thing so been single for 8 years. Havnt been doing much other than going out with friends down here, having afew drinks and shootin the bull and all. Dont see to much of my kids and all, guess there pretty busy with there own lives as we were. Been trying to match names with people but lost the year books somewhere along the line and Im lousy at names. Maybe some of the old classmates might remember me my nickname was Corky and I went out with Joan Litchy for a while, and Lorie Oreck.

Where Am I Living Now?: Just moved to Blue Earth, MN from Winnebago, MN in Dec. 03
Other: This is to update my information. I'm still happily married to Steve, and my son Tim is 29 and looking for a girl. We recently sold
our farm and bought a house that was built in 1900 and has been completely restored with hardwood floors, built in collenades and
hutch. The windows are still the old fashioned leaded glass. We love it here. Angel our miniature doxy and Silver our shorthair blue tabby
cat came too. I'm still trying to get my book written and the photography done for too. My hobbies are reading, calligraphy, writing, photography, walking, science fiction, astronomy and rocketry.
I''m not as shy as I used to be for the better.
Would like to hear from anyone from the RHS.
And I also recently was ordained as a minister.

Other: Worked for Prudential for 26 years (MIS & programming), then went thru Corp downsizing and decided to go back to school. Took Architectural Drafting, graduating top in my class and found out that all I wanted to be was a school girl (how I've changed since HS)!

Now in accounting with several clients: Equine Vet, Quilt shop, Embroidery business, and Mueller Sales Corp. Enjoy the variety of each job.

Quilting is my passion! Also enjoy gardening and traveling (just booked our trip to Alaska)! My significant other, Wayne, is a graduate of Anoka 1969.

Other: 1970 to 1985---is still a blurr!

I got married in 1985 to my wife(Shari, class of 1978). We have a son(Cody)that is 14 years old and attending Apple Valley High School. We had a lake home built "up north" on Pelican Lake in 2000...close to Breezy Point Resort...consequently, we spend all summer at the lake. I've become addicted to golf...along with my wife and son.

I still see Mark Landberg and Johannes Fure quite frequently(both 1970)---we were all boyhood neighbor friends while attending old Elliot Grade School. Also, I spend a lot of time with some 1971 RHS grads--Keith Peterson(Skeeter), Pete Dietzler and Steve Hasbrouck. Interesting enough, my son is taking a Business Class At AVHS that is being taught by Chuck Scanlon's(1970 grad)son.

I spent most of my working career in the grocery business...Penny's Supermarket/Frito-Lay. In 1987, I started up Millstone Coffee in the Midwest(gourmet coffee for grocery stores/restaurants etc)for the owner that lived in Seattle. After a lot of travel & fun while building the business, I decided to retire 2 years ago(2005)to spend more time with my family...and golf/boat more than ever!

I wish the best for all 1970 RHS grads.

I am currently a Renal Nurse Clinician and I work for a group of nephrologists located in Milwaukee.

I have 3 kids - my oldest just graduated from UW-Madison with a Computer Science degree. My daughter works full-time in one of the clinics I routinely go to - so I get to see her often. My youngest son graduated from high school last year and is currently working full time at a restaurant - trying to grow up and figure out what he wants to do for a living.

Other: 3/24/01. I began my career as a carpenter for 9 yrs. I then started selling wholesale lumber to the lumber yards for Canton Lumber in Brooklyn Park, Mn. Jan 1st 2000 I was hired by my best customer to purchase all the redwood and cedar they use to make play systems. I am Director of lumber purchasing for Rainbow Play Systems. I drive to Brookings SD {the manufacturing plant} every sunday and return to maple grove thursdays. The co has 219 locations around the US, Canada, Mexico, Panama, England and soon Japan. Other: Hi, After my husband and I moved out of Mn in 1990 (living in San Francisco, CA and Kansas) I returned to Mn in 1999. I am currently the Director of Fairview Hospice and our TLC Palliative Care program. I kept my maiden name, just changed my first name to Kate in 1985. John Thoma and I have been married nearly 20 years. I have three stepsons Josh, 33, Nate 31, Ben 29. Two grandsons; Calvin 5 and Jackson 21 months. All my six sisters live in the area, so it has been wonderful to be back in Minnesota.
I have had the privilege to help start the group "Arm in Arm in Africa" and have visited Guguletu, South Africa on three occasions assiting those with HIV/AIDS. I have cycled to Chicago from Minneapolis on three events and ridden three other Rides to raise money and awareness for those living with AIDS. Anyone interested to assist us (riders or crew) for the 2005 Mn Red Ribbon Ride, let me know.

Other: You may remember me as "Jim" with the Copper colored 57 Chevy 4 door or the white 64 Impala with the Cragar mags. Both always beautifully clean and going fast! Since graduating spent most of my time in the southern metro area working in sales or the auto repair business. Stock car raced at Elko and Raceway Park in the 70's and 80's, Drag race my 66 Nova now in NHRA Super Gas Class.
Moved to the Belgrade area in the late 90's to slow down and catch up on "life". Have 2 daughters 14 & 15 involved in sports activities here at the local high school. Married several times, I'm now free of that encumberment and enjoy my life working and racing, away from the rat-race of the Twin Cities.

Other: Retired from Richfield School District after working there for 15yrs as a school bus driver. The flexibility gave me the time needed to be with mine and Pat's children. I am now highly medicated after my stint with the school district.HA! HA! Somethings never change.
I am still fun loving with a great sense of humor and approach life very optimistically. We have a beautiful log home on 4 wooded acres where I can run naked every minute of the day if I choose but then we would have no deer or antelope playing. I spend my time caring for Pat, gardening and listening to oldies Rock and Roll. We have an Airedale Terrior named Rocky who is 6mos. old and is a wonderful companion for us. One son is 30, married and has 2 little boys. Our other son is 23 and our daughter is 20. We have been together for 34 years,25 of them married. I couldn't have found a better soul mate!

Other: After graduation I went to SW State in Marshall MN for a short time transferring back home to attend Normandale Community College where I earned my 2 year AA degree. I married a rival EHS70 classmate & then we had two beautiful children (Doug Jr. now 34 & Kristina 27). Unfortunately the marriage ended. I've been blessed in recent years w/2 beautiful granddaughters ages 6 & 3. Talk about bundles of energies. I've had the pleasure of being employed for 4 years at Normandale Baptist Church in Bloomington MN. It's my honor to work as the church secretary to Pastor Chuck Raichert (fellow RHS70 grad). Prior jobs were working for an educational consulting firm & in a prepress shop. I still enjoy arts & crafts but have not played the clarinet (alto too) since HS.

Other: Hi! I was very quiet and shy in high school. I married right after graduation, and shortly thereafter moved to Arkansas. I have one son who is 27 years old, one grandson age 2 ( with another one due in January 2003!)and am married and living in Joplin, Missouri.

I am a Registered Nurse (University of Arkansas) with a varied career including hospital work, public health, and management of an international medical personnel corporation. I presently am Director of Women's Health Services for a non profit community action agency.
My public health career in Arkansas included working closely (!) with Bill and Hilary Clinton and receiving the State of Arkansas' first ever Directors Award (Health Department) from Dr. Joceyln Elders for my work with teens.

I was a horse crazy young girl, and many of those dreams were fullfilled as an adult. Besides competing successfully in distance riding events, I raised Arabian horses and competed nationally against professionals, winning multiple regional championships and a National Top Ten Championship with my mare 'Eazy Touch'.

In recent years, I have added extensive landscaping and gardening to my list of hobbies, while my husband does stain glass and building whatever I ask!

I would love to hear from anyone 'up north!.

Other: I was inspired by Senor Brett's Spanish class, and became a Spanish teacher. I also had a French major obtained from Mankato State. I met my husband Terry of 33 years. We have lived quite a few places- being in Texas for about 20 of these years. In 2000, we moved to Kansas to be partners in a restaurant franchise. We will be opening the 20th one this Jan. in Mexico. I get to travel a lot. I no longer teach high school kids, which I kind of miss, but we are having so much fun. I have a daugther in Vegas, and a son and daughter-in-law in Oklahoma City. We are going to be grandparents for the first time in Feb. Can't wait. Having 90 restaurants keeps us really busy. Hopefully in the next couple of years, we are going to retire in Austin Texas. My dear Mother is 90 and still living in Burnsville. My brother Gary still cuts hair and lives on Russell Ave, in his first house right down from us when we lived on Sheridan. I was not able to come to the last reunion- hopefully we can get to the next one. It would be so fun to see everyone. Would love to hear from you. Wendy Rogers was in my wedding, and we lost contact. Last I heard from her she was out in California. Hope everyone is doing fine, and enjoying the new phase of life. We miss the kids so much, but do enjoy traveling and golfing.

Other: 2/15/05-Just got a card in the mail from Sandra Meyer regarding the '05 reunion, hope to attend. Graduated 1970, drafted US army April 1971 (gad!) discharged 1974 (combat medic). Married Vicki (Swanson [Kennedy class of '72]) 1973, divorced 1995. Two children, Sarah-18, Michael 22, both doing well. College 1974-80, (philosophy). Employed for 25 years with International Netherlands Group (ING), U.S. Operations, Financial services/Business Analyst. Second home (cabin) in Park Falls, Wisconsin. Working in DT Minneapolis. Spend a large portion of the summers "up north". After all this time, still have fond memories of many RHS folks. Elementery school heartbreakers Robin Hawkinson, Pam Werness, one whole summer spent with Jim Davis working on cars, eating pizza every day his older brother stole from a store he worked at, cruising around with the Bjvera brothers and Steve Budd in my 1962 Corvair, one steamy summer with Susan Miller (locker next to mine), and other great memories. Now work as little as possible and play as much as possible. I'm a little heavier, but still got lots of hair! Best wishes to all...gdn

Other: 11/5/99. Hi. Since HS went into the Army for 3 years. Tried moving to Key West after that with John Johnston and Jim Miller but ran out of money and moved back to Richfield. Jim stills lives there. I live in South Minneapolis now. I work for a Graphic Arts Company as a Mac Operator. I am married to a Washburn graduate of 67 in 83. We adopted a Beautiful girl from China 3 years ago and she is 5 now. Its hard at this age to keep up with her but she keeps us young at heart anyway. We have a cabin on the Whitefish chain in Crosslake, MN. Drop a line and say hi.

Other: Cheryl living in Naples, NY, formerly Buffalo, died suddenly on April 10, 2002. Cheryl was well-known for her work with adults with developmental disabilities. She worked with tireless determination and met with great success in placing special need adults into the work force. She was a lifelong friend and advocate to many disabled people in the Minneapolis area, Buffalo, and Canandaigua.

Cheryl worked as a job developer and coordinator of supported work at Allentown Industries/Heritage Centers, 1987-1999; and recently as a counselor at ARC/Abbey Industries, Canandaigua. She had a great appreciation of the Arts and was a member of the Rochester Folk Art Guild.

To honor Cheryl�s life a memorial service will be held at the Rochester Folk Art Guild, Middlesex, NY in May and at her parents home in Richfield on April 20. Please email gskluzacek@AOL.com for details.

Other: I've been married 28 years and I have 3 kids and 1 grandson. I moved to Alaska cuz my husband always wanted to live here. I work as a nurse, I worked in a detox unit for 10 years but recently change jobs and work in a native health clinic, wonderful hours. No nights or weekends! Summers in Fairbanks are the best in the world but only last a very short time, winters are way to long.

Our daughter, Sharla, graduated from Richfield in 1997 and currently teaches kindergarden in Las Vegas, NV. My twin sister, Sally, died in August 1989 from complications of a bone marrow transplant for leukemia.
