Other: I have been married 26 years to my wife Cindy who grew up on a dairy farm 25 miles south of Willmar, Minnesota. We have three boys ages 8, 19, and 22. Our favorite family activities involve boating and family outings on the Mississippi River and also occasionally on Lake Minnetonka. I am an active youth mentor for our church youth group. Each week we have between 10 and 15 high school students in our home for 2 or 3 hours. It provides the opportunity for them to know another adult (besides mom or dad) who cares about them, knows them by name and who is willing to be there for them.

The printing industry has provided 30+ years of gainful employment for me and continues to remain a challenging attmosphere in which to work.

Other: I graduated in June 1971, and had already signed my enlistment papers for the USAF. I completed 4 years active duty in the United States Air Force recieved an Honorable Discharge in 1975.

I attended College at the State University of New York for Electric Engineering, joined the IEEE, and the Society of Women Engineers and graduated in 1985. Amdahl hired me directly from school, and brought me out to Silcon Valley, CA, for work. After my first interview, I drove 30 minutes on Highway 17 to Santa Cruz, CA and saw the Pacfic Ocean. I decided I had to come to live here, and I took the job. I have had an excellent career in the software industries here, working for Amdahl, Hewlett Packard, and Seagate.

I do not work full time now due to health. I have Lupus, with the sun allergy, so I have to be careful. I excellent medical through the VA.

I married a beautiful man in 2004 on Valentine's Day in a floor length Red Satin Dress in at Ceasar's in South Lake Tahoe, Nevada.

Other: Greetings Richfield Class of "71"- I now live in Shanghai,China where I have resided for the past 18 months. I'm still working with the only company that I have worked for the past 38 years, McDonald's corporation. My position is CEO of McDonald's China and I'm responsible for the 800 restaurants throughout China. I love living and working in China. The people, the language(Taking lessons) and the culture is wonderful. Since we are in 120 cities, I see parts of China no westerners ever go. It's a fasinating experience! Since leaving Minnesota I have resided in Chicago, Phoenix, Los Angeles, Newport Beach, Las Vegas and now Shanghai. I attended the 35 year reunion last July and had a great time! Other: Class of '71....Where have the years gone?? I have lived in Iowa since 1973. Planned to just go to college and return "home" ...well, I am still here. I have a daughter (30 years old!!!) who is the joy of my life. What a wonderful human being she is. Was fortunate to get her educated in the parochial schools and through college. She was a social worker for several years, burned out and is now one semester short of her RN. I went to college at Iowa State University and had a wonderful time!! I have worked in the mental health field for 17 years - first in drug/alcohol recovery and now in Child/Adolescent mental health. Love the work - won't become rich in this field, but can make a real difference in kids lives. Really miss high school days - we had a lot of good times! Where did all of the years go!

Other: I moved to sunny Florida in 1994! I am a independent hairdresser, in a salon in Deland, Florida. I am recently engaged. (No wedding plans as of yet!)
