Other: I work in Bloomington at a company called Sick, Inc. I handle the export paperwork and do some of the importing too. I love it. I am fluent in French and sometimes I get to use it in my job.

I moved back to Minnesota after my marriage to a French man did not work out. I have 2 sons who are both grown now and living on their own. Matt lives and works in Chicago. Steve is living in Apple Valley and works in Edina.

Though I was not lucky in love, I have been very lucky with family and friends. My favorite times are hanging out with any of them. I love to travel when I can afford it. I have family in Norway, friends in France and Germany.

Other: I live in Fridley, MN and work for Wells Fargo. I lived in Louisianna for 20 Yrs. and came back to Minnesota in 2000. My children are grown now, I have a son Darrell who is 31. My other son is Jonathan. He and his wife live In Colorado. He came back from Iraq with injuries. He is doing fine now but has to have additional surgery. He is working on getting his masters in History but will also Have a bachelors in physical education. I have another son Matthew who passed away. I have been divorced before comming back to Minnesota, and am presently engaged to a great guy. He also works for Wells Fargo.

Have been an office manager, sales assistant manager for a national medical equipment company, was a personnel manager for Midwest Federal Savings and Loan (prior to Hal Greenwoods conviction of fruad).

Now enjoying the life of wife and mother and spending time on our acres of land with my garden, being involved with our youngest boys school thru PTA. Enjoy reading, sewing, church activities. My favorite past time is spending time with my best friend and wonderful spouse Bryan. Bryan graduated from Hibbing in 1982 ( Yeap I could be called a craddle robber)

I was married during veterinary school and moved to Walker Minnesota after graduation from the U. I have 2 girls in college and have recently been remarried. The second time is wonderful. Other: I work for Target Corp. as a jewelry team lead in Elk River, MN. I was on the ambulance crew in Zimmerman for ten years, until my husband died in 1996.

I have 4 children, and two step-children. My youngest is 17 and in college. My three youngest live at home, my oldest daughter lives in Moorehead, one step daughter lives in Seattle and one step daughter lives in St. Cloud. I have 9 grand children.

I have a small farm north of Zimmerman. I have two horses, two dogs and too many barn cats to count. I love the country, and could never move back to the cities. My favorite past time activities are reading, dancing and lounging on my deck enjoying the country view. I also enjoy playing guitar (I have 3), and piano. My favorite description of myself is I am a flower child wanna be.

Other: Hi fellow classmates! I live in Ramsey, MN and work in south Minneapolis for Cramer Building Services (Trane Company) where I have worked for the past 16 years. I have one daughter, Jennifer, who is 32 years old. I also have two grandchildren, Acacia (AJ)is 14 yrs old & Deon is 12 yrs old. I keep very busy attending both of the grandkids games (baseball, basketball and football)and their band concerts. AJ is also active in her school theater program. I enjoy my pets (2 dogs and 1 cat), scrapbooking, writing and trying to keep in touch with my friends whenever I get the chance. Looking forward to the next reunion. I haven't missed one yet!

Other: With my second child (4 kids)graduating this spring (he's ranked #4 out of 332), I checked this web site to see if I can find out what my ranking was, because I know it wasn't anywhere in the upper ranks. I learned that there were 889 (or something like that) in our class. WOW! I remember seeing kids at my graduation that I didn't know existed. That's sad. I keep in touch with a few people, Judy Hanson, Pam Meyerson and a few others. Guess our 30th is coming up. My parents still live in Richfield, so being only a 1/2 hour away, we get to Richfield often, but has it ever changed! I'm working in a law office part time wondering what I'll be when I grow up! I'll wait until our youngest is at a reasonable age before I begin my career. Last year we had one child in all areas: college, HS, Middle school and elementary so I don't have time to work a career job. My husband is a Executive in the YMCA system in St. Paul. Guess that's about it.

Other: I was one of the 879 who graduated from the colossal class of 1973. I was not hard to miss, as I was the only one in my class with a pure white (blond) afro hairstyle. In hair styles I was about 10 years ahead of my time! (Believe it or not - it was all natural, it got curly when the testosterone kicked in!) It was some trick trying to get my graduation cap to stay on top of that bush! (Alas, my bush is gone and I have a conservative short hairstyle now).

I was intensely shy and introverted in high school, mostly because I had very poor appearing (tetracycline-stained) teeth. Consequently, I had a very small circle of friends. I had the usual crushes on various girls, but I was much too timid to ask anyone out, so I didn't actually start dating until college (once I got my teeth fixed up). The delay was actually good, for by then, I was a bit more mature, had a car, some money, and could actually begin to fathom the whole female-male thing (does anyone ever really figure it out completely?). Anyway, at Bemidji State College and got a degree in Biology, Chemistry, and Physical Education. I was on the swim team for 3 years there and continue to love to swim to this day. I also met my future wife at BSU. She was a '76 grad of Fridley High School. I was accepted into dental school in 1980 at the U of M. and graduated in 1985. I now live in Fergus Falls, MN, with my wife and 6 (yes, six) children (who are a constant souce of joy). I have a dental practice that cares for developmentally disabled adults. I have a lot of good memories of RHS days. It was a great city to grow up in and a great school to attend. I am thankful for many of my 12th grade teachers, for they encouraged me to attend college. Without their gentle nudges, I don't know where I would be. I especially want to thank John Hodges, my Chemistry teacher, for seeing possibilites in me and for all his encouragement and humor. And then there was Mr. Kispert, Algebra teacher in 11th grade, who explained algebra in such a logical and understandable way. It paved the way for me to explore other sciences.

I have not been back to Richfield High School since the day I graduated in 1973 (our family moved to Bemidji a week after graduation). Memory: I recall (in 1962) being able to see Southdale from our front door at 6439 Vincent Ave. S. It was a prairie from our house to Southdale. Now it is all commercial stores!

I don't smoke, drink, or do drugs and never have. I am thankful for the Lord Jesus as my Savior, and I am happy with the direction of my life. Best wishes to all!

Other: It has been fun to search through these pages and read about Righfield.
After I graduated my family moved to the Chicago area as my dad was trasfered there. I attended a college in Paletine, Il and then went onto Augsburg the last two years. I met my husband on a blind date fixed up by my cousin who went to the U of M. He went to Owatonna High School and remembers wrestling with our guys. He was ROTC. He is retired Army and we now live by an Air Force Base. We lived at Fort Bragg, N.C., Fort Benning,Georgia (twice) Ft. Richardson, AK, Key West, Florida,and Scott AFB, Il. Mascoutah is a town of 5,500. A little different then the Richfield area. My two sisters still live in the MPLS. area. Both my parents are gone now.
We have two daughters, one just got married last December 2001 to a Marine Officer so they live at Camp Lejeune, N.C. now. Our other daughter will be going off to college next year. She hopes to graduate from the University of Illinois as her sister did.
I am still singing, mostly church choir. I have done some singing at military functions: formals and memorial day services plus funeral and weddings.
I would love to hear from anyone that remembers me.

Other: Hello fellow 73ers!! Just discovered this page and it's so much fun to see those from the class that checked in here. About me: After graduation I began work and after a few years- school. I eventually went to work in electronics and moved to San Diego California. Lived there a few years and then came back to work for Honeywell and Seagate. I lived mostly in Uptown my adult life but now have moved to the suburbs. Gosh... Life is good for me. I married late at 43 to an amazing man with a huge heart and live now in Hopkins Minnesota. I have a grown son John who is 30 and three grandchildren Rhiannon 3, Johnny 6 and Alissa 9. I work for Honeywell as a Senior Researcher in Electronics. I travel whenever I get the chance and love to scuba dive. I have an amazing garden and in the summers you can find me there digging in the dirt or up near Hackensack where we have some land with a wonderful view of Woman Lake. I went back to school 3 years ago and am currently a junior at Metro State University. Life is most certainly good and I feel grateful daily for all the amazing things life has brought to me...

I sold my printing company in 2003 but will not retire just yet, so stayed on as a consultant. Moved to the lake and commute to work in Bloomington every day. Living in a small town is wonderful. Our drive is 65 miles one way,it is so worth it.

Other: I am still trying to figure out what I am going to do when I grow up. Graduated from the University of Wyoming in 1978. Entered Aviation Officer Candidate School in Pensacola, Florida in 1979. Got my wings in Corpus Christi, after a brief stop for jet training in Beeville, Texas. Flew out of NAS Miramar with RVAW-110, VAW-112 and VAW-88 until 1993. Went to Viginia and flew with VAW-78. Did a Pentagon tour (five sided wind tunnel) and finished up as Commanding Officer of the Naval Air Reserve in Minneapolis in 2000. Went to grad school at Hamline. Presently working for the Transportation Security Administration and ski racing out at Buck Hill on Tusday nights (Jan-Feb). I'd love to hear from anyone.

No family members living any longer in Richfield. Not an exceptional student, but participated lots while at Richfield: Football, gymnastics, wrestling, school newspaper (photographer), athletic manager 2 years for football, band, dances dances dances. Attended in the days of sit-ins and protests by the auditorium, marijuana brownies in speech class, and the stealing of all school flags from classrooms. Someone even through M-80 fireworks down ! a toilet which apparently blew the thing off the wall...flooded the south wing ramp. Mr. Hanson always gave us good humor doing Alfred Hitchcock on the overhead and screen. Mr. Walker, football coach, was the greatest! Randy and Ron Zimmerman were best friends during high school. Lettered a few times, but alas the jacket fell into disrepair and somewhere along the way was discarded. Still have all my letters, though! : ) Loved school! May not have had perfect attendance, but pretty close. GO RICHFIELD HIGH!!

Other: Hey Class of '73, where the heck are all of you. This page is rather short. We were, afterall, the biggest class in 50 years! I was, for over 30 years, a secretary, receptionist, administrative assistant, office manager for Honeywell, Toro, etc. About 5 years ago I went back to school(short time) and got my CNA/HHA certificate and have thoroughly enjoyed working for Hospice. I have one beautiful and intelligent(didn't get it from me)daughter (Mesa Anne) and on 9/30/07 an adorable grandaughter(Ava Jeanea) the only loves of my life. Mesa and I lived in Glenwood, MN for 12 years, a beautiful lake and area for a child to grow up, guess I'm a Cities girl at heart. Since '03, lost both my parents within 2 years, so my Richfield home is no longer. 2 years ago Mesa moved back to TC interning at U for Vet Tech and I moved back 1 year ago. Still have a few close friends from '73, but would like to keep in touch with more. I enjoying being by water and the sun, traveling, music, movies, wine, playing on Myspace, dancing, mostly enjoy my daughter and grandaughter and friends.
