So I now live in the suburb we reviled in high school. Golf is my favorite hobby. Before having kids I was fortunate enough to take golf vacations to Scotland, Pebble Beach and Kiawah Island. My career highlight occurred in 1990 when I successfully argued a murder case, Minnesota v. Olson, before the US Supreme Court.

In 2001 I threw my hat in the ring for City Council and -- believe it or not I was elected -- I thoroughly enjoy it. Cynthia has worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield for 27 years, and I have 25 with my employer, we are both hoping for early retirement before 60!

Other: By our 30th reunion I'll have celebrated 25 years with 3M (if the old pink slip isn't delivered to my desk between now and then) and 23 years of marriage (if the great guy I've been living with all these years doesn't figure out that the grass is greener........)and, best of all, an empty nest, as our youngest will graduate from high school in 2006!!!
My interests include running, biking, and any other activity that can allow me to eat 1000s of calories a day without gaining weight (not terribly successful so far, the not-gaining-weight part anyway...)
When I realize how much I have been blessed I cannot help but thank God and strengthen my commitment to live for him and to tell others about him and the abundant life available to those who turn their lives over to him, and better yet, the eternal life to come.

I am a recent college graduate looking for employment again. I have 25 years in the non-profit sector and decided at the ripe age of 46 to finish what I started in the 70's and get my B.A. degree. I now have a degree in Non-profit Marketing and Communications Management. Interesting that they still require Algabra! Barely got through it!! I have recently been married to a wonderful geek (Computer), Bruce on November 26, 2004. I have three children, Jamie Lind 25, Keely Lind 23, and Tanner Lind soon to be 18. Other: My husband, Dan and I moved to Orlando, FL in 2000, after living in North Carolina for 18 years. We have a beautiful daughter, Julia, who was born in May 2000. (better late than never!)

I've been a travel agent for 17 years and am now working out of my home, so that I can be with Julia full time. I travel to Minneapolis frequently and it will always be "home" to me.

My hobbies include travel, snow skiing, scuba diving, boating, fishing and attending sporting events.

Other: Hi all! Sorry to have missed the 25th reunion! I am married to Patrick (who was a RHS grad of '75)we have two wonderfull children a son 10, a daughter 6 and one dog! Working currently on my golf game and cooking while Patrick creates networks for Bank One. Biggest accomplishment--- giving my older brother Michael a kidney! Best thing I've ever done (easier than child birth- you get to sleep for the whole thing and no diapers afterwards, lol) May god bless you all as he has truely blessed my house!

Other: Married to Curt Nelson (class of '74) for almost 22 years. Two daughters, Shauna age 21 and Kara age 15. Lived in Champlin for 18 years. Curt works for Endocardial Solutions in St. Paul as a medical manufacturing supervisor. Sue recently graduated from nursing school and is a registered nurse working in Bloomington. Shauna will be a senior at U of W, River Falls working on a degree in Biology and has made the Dean's list for spring semester of 1999. She plans to go on to a master's program for physician's assistant. Kara will be a sophomore at Champlin Park High School. (Jesse Ventura is coach here.) She is very much involved in the marching band program and will be performing in the Fiesta Bowl- Phoenix, AZ on Jan. 1, 2000.

Other: I am a Registered Nurse, and recently finsihed my Masters of Arts in Organizational Management.
I have two wonderful daughters, one is learning to drive a stick, so we are having fun jerking through the intersections- Can anyone else relate??
I love being outdoors, doing just about anything, the fall leaves crunching under my feet is my favorite noise.

Other: Hey everyone -

It says I am missing....but I am right here!

I currently live in Buffalo, MN, however, I do make the drive into the city each day. I am the Operations Manager at Morgan Stanley in Bloomington. I have worked for Morgan Stanley for a total of 11 years, and prior to that I worked for Dain Bosworth in Edina.

I have a 17 year old daughter, Stephanie, and she is a junior at Maple Lake High School.

I was married to Larry Paumen for 21 years. (Also a 1976 alumni, but from Maple Lake, High School) We lived in Eden Prairie for 11 years before moving "out west" to Maple Lake/Annandale. I could not attend the 25th class reunion because it was during our annual trip to Sturgis for the Motorcycle Rally.

While Larry was riding his Harley motorcycle with friends last spring (April,2003) he had an accident and sustained a severe brain injury and 10 days later, he passed away from those injuries. I have taken comfort in the fact that he was doing what he loved best, riding with the "guys".

Aside from my regular job, I am fulfilling Larry's dream and legacy for our daughter. He had a patent on a product that he was developing - though we are still in the initial launch period - it is featured in the Fleet Farm Christmas Catalog this year!

As far as hobbies go, I love to travel. I am lucky to have one of the best sisters-in-law, Joan. We are great friends and have traveled to several destinations over the years with our friends from Chicago and Eden Prairie. My latest trip was in September, where I went to Napa Valley, right at the start of the fall harvest.

I have decided to pursue a lifelong goal and am finally working towards my 4 year degree - it is a personal goal - and I will be nearly 50 when done - ughh!

This is a great website for our classmates. I bumped into it when I read that Scott Vaillancourt had died. He was a great guy and it looks like he had achieved many successes in his life. I will remember him fondly as t he first "boy" that ever asked me to dance -
West Junior High 7th grade dance - I am sure I wrote it in my diary!
