Other: I graduated high school and finished my undergraduate in psychology and child psychology at U of M in 1989. I then received my Masters and Education Specialist, ED.S, from the University of St. Thomas in 1995. I taught junior high social studies for 4 years and then became an assistant principal. I worked in St. Paul at Humboldt Middle School and then in Minneapolis at Washburn High School. Last year, the superintendent from Minneapolis asked me to come to Memphis, TN and be the Academic Superintendent for Middle Schools. I am responsible for the academic performance of 31 middle schools. Whew! It is a great opportunity to serve children and families.

I have three children, Christian (16), Ani Grace (5), and Charlie (3 1/2). My husband is Jason Cassellius.

I look forward to seeing old friends, catching up, and rekindling friendships!

Other: I have 3 lovely kids-Gabbie, Amber, and Brian. I married Robin this year and we spent a wonderful honeymoon on a cruise to St Thomas, Antigua, St Lucia, St Martin, and Miami.

I am currently working in IT and I specialize in telecommunications.

Something fun-I just bought a Jetta TDI. I love to drive it. I also love a car with a speed o meter that tops out at 160mph.

Sports-I play squash poorly, ride my bike really slow(just ask Paul Meehl), take poor shots in street hockey, and work out at the club regularly.

Goals in the next year-start a side business to grow into a fulltime job. I am looking into some contracting opportunities.

Other: Hello all! It must be fate - I've been thinking about the 20 years reunion and then I find out about this site and get to read up on what so many of you have been doing.

Ok the "BIO" - graduated from Mankato State in '89, degree in Finance. Had various jobs all relating to financial and real estate industries but backed off the career a little in 2000 to concentrate on health and family. I married Mike Saville in '95 and we moved to Shakopee in '98 (very close to "Canterburry" - how convenient for this summer's festivities). We have a beautiful daughter named Alexandra (Alex) - she is 3 and keeps us busy but she's wonderful! After Alex was born, I stayed home with her until she was 2 and have been dabbling in real estate closing work for a while but am looking for something different now.

That's about it - life has been pretty good and I'm hoping to catch up with many of you at this summer's 20th reunion. Hope you are all doing well!

Other: Hey there everyone! I hope that you don't mind me claiming fame for the class of '85, even though I didn't graduate intil 1987, due to alot of fun in the park and the birth of my son. That son, Michael is now 19, graduated from high school and trying to find himself in the world. I also have a daughter Tia, who is 14 and so completly unlike me! Whew!

Anyway... I have been working for the Veterans Admistration for 15 years and still enjoy my job! We would be no where if it wasn't for our VETERANS!

Unsure if I am going to attend the reunion, but would love to hear from anyone who may remember me!

Other: Hello everyone! Thought it was time to update. I am still residing in Georgia(6 years now) and am married to Joe (Henry Sibley '85). We have two wonderful daughters Abby (5 years) and Cate (5 months). Cate is our miracle baby as we were told by a fertility Dr. that I was not pregnant, but in fact the day after christmas I discovered I was! While I mostly stay home with my girls I do occasionally work weekends at a local hospital, as an Occupational Therapist. I enjoy working with orthopaedics as well as neurological impairments. My big personal goal this year, besides trying to be a good mom, is to complete the breast cancer 3-day walk here in Atlanta in the fall. It will be a good 60 mile challenge! It doesn't seem possible that our 20 year is coming up! I am looking forward to it. If you are ever in the south trying to get warm from the Mn. winters, please drop us a line........See ya'll at the reunion.

Other: Thought I would take a minute to update my information. I am now working as the Executive Director of the Chicagoland Lutheran Educational Foundation, based in Chicago, IL. I have one employee and between us we provide financial and administrative support to 35 Lutheran schools in the inner-city of Chicago. I don't exactly spend my days in the best neighborhoods in Chicago -- but I love every minute of it!

I also recently moved into a house in Lake in the Hills, IL. Suddenly I am doing yardwork again! My weekly workouts now include at least one day of mowing the lawn and working on my flowers.

I still manage to make it back to Richfield at least once a year, but would love to get some '85 grads together in Chicago. If you live in the Chicago area and are interested in getting a group together, drop me a note. Maybe we can even pull it off before the end of the summer!

Other: Hi to all! Time for an update, a lot has changed since 2000. I am now living in Princeton, MN with my 4 kids and loving it up here. Quite a change from life in Richfield. Living in the country is so peaceful, with horses all around and the smell of cows, I don't think I could ever move back to the "cities". My oldest son Steven is 17, a junior in high school I can hardly believe it. He is my hockey boy just finishing up his 2nd year as a defensman for the varsity team. Plays year round and I am his biggest fan, and yes I am just as crazy as a "mom". Somethings never change ! Graduating next year almost seems impossible because it seems like yesterday we were...and now it is #20 for us...UGH !!! My #2 Scott is 15, just give him a motor and he is happy. He is my comedian and has had a difficult few years. My kids lost their dad a year ago and he was the closest to him, infact he is his twin and he will live on. He will be strappin' on the skates again next year which will be wonderful for him which means I get to be "hockey mom" for a couple of more years. My daugher Katie will be 14 in a week. She is a wonderful kid, truly my blessing. She attends school at the Minnesota State academy for the deaf in Faribault,MN. She lives in the dorm during the week which makes it difficult for mom, however it is such a great facility I know it is the best place for her. My "baby" Kourtney is now 7 and she is my payback. She is adorable and knows it. Loves to sing and dance and is the center of attention, spoiled....yes and loves every minute of it. She loves life and keeps me goin'! As for me, I am now working at CH Robinson as an LTL Expeditor. I am one of the lucky ones who gets to work at home which allows more time with the kids and their schedules. Life is good....busy, but good ! Looking forward to seeing everyone in July !

Other: Just moved to Madison Wisconsin from San Diego just in time for the humidity. I am married to Martha (Edina class of 86'). We actually met in California. Small world. Martha just graduated from med school and is in a pediatric residency at the University of Wisconsin. We had our first child in Sept. 01'. Big boy named Jack. He is keeping us on our toes and we love it. I am currently looking for work since moving but hopefully that won't be too long. I would love to here from some old friends and catch up a little. Should be getting to Mpls area every 2 to 3 months now that we are a little closer.

Other: For all of those who remember me, I joined the Army Reserves during the end of our senior year, and at the end of the summer spent six months in Columbia S.C., where I trained as a mechanic. I just missed being activated for Desert Storm till the ARCOM held us back. I spent the next few years working, traveling around the country visiting old Army buddies, and hanging out. Still no kids, (but my cat is fifteen the year!) or a husband, and not for the lack of trying- I have been engaged three times!) I just could not let go of the single life. In 1998 I bought the house my mother grew up in-an architectural centurion..(my house is 100years old!) It's a handymans nightmare, but I love it, always something to do! It's full of antiques and has the definite feel of the 1940's. Well I hope to see you all at the party!

Other: Hello all you SnapRats uhhh, I mean Spartans. Does anyone from East remember that school program where they mixed up the letters from SPARTAN and….. never mind, I digress.

I am living the lake life in Chanhassen with my lovely wife Tricia (87’ Hastings) and my two beautiful baby girls Brianna (11) and Alicia (8). We enjoy boating, skiing (water and cross country, depending on the weather) as well as fishing and golf.

By day I am an Electrical Engineer at Datacard Group in Minnetonka. By night I am a wanna be rock star playing bass guitar in a local band. The band is called Frayed Katz, you can check us out at www.frayedkatz.com.

I am really looking forward to the 20 year since I was away on a family vacation during the 15, and by the sounds of it I missed a great time.

Other: I've been married to Jeff (Gonzo)Krause (RHS '81) since 1991 and we have a daughter, Stephanie (4) and I have a stepson, Wes (22). Jeff works as a technician at Walser Dodge in Bloomington - feel free to send some business his way! We also have one cat, Alex and two dogs. Buckwheat is an English Setter-Lab mix who is finally mellowing out at 6 years old and Spanky is a 5 month old German Shepherd-Collie mix. We've been in S. Mpls. for 15 years, but still spend a lot of time at the Richfield Ice Arena for our daughter's figure skating. We also enjoy going to car shows with our '72 Ford Gran Torino and our next project "when we have time" will be the '47 Chevy Fleetmaster that's been in our garage for the last 6 years. We also love spending time at our lake cabin in the Crosslake area, swimming, skiing, tubing, ice skating & snowmobiling. We all dread leaving on Sunday nights & are considering a permanent move. Career-wise, I've been in banking for my entire career. I am currently working for Cherokee Bank in commercial banking as Lead Credit Analyst. Hope to hear from some old friends & see you at the 50th Anniversary and/or the 20 year reunion!

Other: I went to U of MN for undergrad and med school and then moved to Ann Arbor, MI for my residency in Emergency Medicine.
I met my wife Tiffany (a pediatric RN) at the pool after she sat on a bee and I had to administer some "first aide"
We have been in Charlotte since 1999 where I work at three hospitals and chase after my four year old (Abby) and two year old (Emily) in my free time.

Other: Hello to all you that are getting old like me! 20 yrs from school is a long time, but it sure seemed to go fast! I have been with my wife, Colette, since 1986. We have a 17 yr old son (senior at RHS next year), a 14yr old girl (freshman) and an 8 yr old boy. Our family is plenty busy. We moved out to Big Lake for a while but found ourselves back in the cities a little too much, so we moved back a few years ago. Life has been good to me so far, no complaints, although I can't seem to move as quickly as I once could! Looking forward to our reunion. It will be interesting!

Other: Well, Paul Meehl threatened to write something for me if I didn't do it myself (as he did with Greta)- and lord knows he has plenty of ammunition - so here goes. I'm currently a project manager for the Wells Fargo Retirement Plan Services Product Development Group based out of Minneapolis (yeah, that history major really paid off!) I'm married and have two wonderful children - Emily (8) and Justin (5).

In addition to memorizing all 152 Pokemon characters so that I can have meaningful conversations with my kids, I spend the rest of my not-so-free time lifting weights and yes, still playing bandy. The sport has certainly provided me years (over 16) of great experiences and allowed me to visit places I never would have dreamed of seeing (Khaborovsk, Russia was the most memorable).

I have been going to school for the past two years to get a degree in acct/business and hope to find a job in somthing. I have never married to my kids dad and have been doing the things in which I wish I did after I graduated. I did not go to school right after graduation I was just roaming around seeking out somthing. It is funny after you experience life and what it is really about how things change. I hope to be able to run my own business from home some time soon so I can be home for my kids. I can say honestly that my kids have been the best thing in my life and are still are. I hope to go to our reuion, it would be nice to see where everyone is now. I was kind of shy in school and it is interesting to see where everyone is now.

Other: Hello classmate's!! Can't belive it's been 20yrs since we graduated. Looking forward to the reunion summer of 2005!! I'm married to Derrick Herling 88', and we have a son Justin 9 1/2 and daughter Riley 22 months. I resigned from NWA after 16 years to be home with my kids. I enjoyed my time at home, but got the bug to get back to the airline industry. I'm now a part-time Customer Service Agent with Mesaba Airlines, and really enjoy it. Like most with kids these days, just trying to find the right balance with family and work.

After graduating from RHS I started dating my Nephew's best friend ( yes, thats correct). He is 2 years older than myself and we eventually married in 1990. We have no children but consider our 2 goldens as close as we are going to get! I graduated from Hamline U ( go Pipers) in 1989 and then on to the U of M. I work full time as a physical therapist. In my spare time I still swim, walk great distances with my "guys" and listen to The Boss...yes I am still a Springsteen fanatic ( my husband has seen the light and has joined me in this obsession). I keep in touch with another alum Chris Nelson ( who is happy and healthy in Sisters Oregon).

Other: Update: I'm still married to Keith. We're the parents of eleven (Joey-23, Keith-21, Ellen-20, Chet-18, Dana-17, Troy-14, Shane-13, Bryce-10, Owen-8, Lisa-5, and Gabe-almost 2), with one married, three in college, one in high school, and six homeschooled. Two are college football players at Michigan Tech in Houghton so we spend a lot of Saturdays in the fall cheering on the Huskies. We own an industrial fan manufacturing business and hope some of our engineering majors will want to join us someday. It would be an understatement to say we have a busy household, holidays are crazy but SO fun. Gabe has caused us all to take a step back and get a new view on life in general. He has down syndrome and has enriched our lives in ways that are unimaginable. If you know anyone who receives a prenatal (or at birth) ds diagnosis be sure to congratulate them. What a blessing!!

Other: A.K.A. "Mini Blimp", though quite the ladies man in high school, finally came to terms with his undying devotion and attraction to Paul Wright. To fulfill his days of yearning for Paul, Dave threw himself into the animal business. After a brief but glorious fling with Sigfreid (and coming close to breaking up the famous duo)Dave decided to disappear. I also am married to Scott Vincent, will be 10yrs on the 14Aug. We have 5 children, yes that is not a typo!! My oldest Daughter Jackie is 15,My son Kyle-11, Laura-10, Monica-6, Nicole 4. Yes, we had 3 children before we tied the knot,we wanted to be sure! So working full time and I run the rest of the day/night with the kids between all of their sports and school functions. Sometimes I get to relax and read a Harry Poter book(hahaha)or there is always something to do around the house.

Other: This is an update. I graduated from the College of St. Catherine in St. Paul with a BA in Occupational Therapy and in Spanish. I lived in Albuquerque New Mexico for about 3 years. I currently live in Northern California and have been in Napa for 11 years. I don't miss the frigid MN weather, however, I do need to see snow every year. Luckily Lake Tahoe area is only about a 2-3 hour drive from Napa. My husband Jesus is a Registered Nurse and we have been married for 10 years. We have 3 children: Jesusito 8, Olivia 6 and Diego 4. Other: Yes, I'm still in the Air Force in Sin City! Since my last update to this board I have been promoted and gotten divorced. I got to keep the house, the dog and the cat. The kids still live with my ex in Vegas and are now 13 (Amanda) and 10 (Zachary). I'm now engaged to a lovely woman named Kristen who has a 4 year old (Casey). No wedding date yet! I have been promoted to the position of Site Chief of an Electronic Combat training range in western Nevada. It keeps me from home most of the week but I enjoy the work. Other: Hello everyone! I am looking forward to catching up with everyone at the reunion. Here is a little history, I have been married twice, divorced twice (obviously marriage is not for me). I have three wonderful children who are my life. My oldest Jenna (18) just graduated from high school (New Prague) May of 2005 and going to be moving out on her own and attending AVEDA in Mpls, Tori my middle who is 10, and my youngest Austin who is 9. I have been dating this very wonderful man for the last three years, we just bought a beautiful home in Savage, MN, which has been keeping us busy doing things I never thought I would like staining a deck, mowing a lawn, putting in mulch, yikes.....truth be told I am liking it. I have been working in the mortgage industry for the last 13 years, I work at GMAC-RFC, the same company as Deanna Ziemkowski (Brake), I was here for nine years, left for 4, and just recently returned. Playing softball, lots of golfing, and down hill skiing keep me busy as well.

Other: Hello. I just got done reading several of the updated postings. It is interesting to read about where many of you are now and where your lives have taken you.

I graduated from Moorhead State University in 1990 with a degree in education. I have been working as a special education teacher for Moorhead Public Schools since 1992. Currently, I teach at the West Central Regional Juvenile Center (not many dull days there). I was married in 1990, however that ended in divorce in 1995. In 1998, I remarried. Jon and I live in Fargo with our two children, Hannah -5 yrs, and Tanner -17 months. In my spare time, if you can call it that, I enjoy gardening, working with our horses and reading.

I do get to the cities occasionally because my parents now live in Burnsville and my brother (David 87) lives in Woodbury.

I often wonder about many of the friends I had in high school and have since lost touch with. I would love to hear from you sometime.

Other: Hey Y'all! (No, I really do not say that since we have only lived in TX for 6 months, but it may come in due time!HA!) I have enjoyed "catching up" by reading everyone's updates - just can't believe we are talking about a 20 yr reunion! Anyway, here is my scoop.....graduated in'89 from St. Thomas which included a 6 mos stint in Paris. Went on to get my MBA from UST in '96. While working at NWA, I met my husband and ended up moving to Seattle, WA 3 weeks after our son, Max (now 4 yrs old) was born. Decided to be a stay-at-home mom and ended up very busy as his sister, Alexa (just turning 3)soon followed. During the 4 yrs we spent in WA, I ended up becoming a kickboxing instructor and a part-time consultant. However, my husband switched jobs and we just moved this summer to Southlake, TX. Since we have only been here a short time, I have been busy trying to get our home settled and enjoying visitors from home. I welcome any of you who may be passing by. I hope to make it to this reunion as I am really looking forward to it!

Other: I'm a senior operations manager at RBC Dain Rauscher in Minneapolis, running operations for our correspondent clearing division.

I live in Savage with my wife,Jodie, and you can still find Joe Wagner, Tim Johnson, Rob Goldnick, Ken Boie myself and some others at O'Connell Park for the occasional street hockey match...The Eelpout live on.

I have one daughter, Siobhan, who will be 18 this fall (04), and a step-daughter, Morgan, who is going on 9. Both are wonderful.

Still active in the US bandy program, most recently playing on a championship team in Roseville (finally) and coaching the USA national women's team in the World Championships in Finland. I try to keep active, and in 2002 completed an Ironman triathlon in Madison, WI. Mostly, though, active means pulling weeds, mowing, canoeing and other putzing.

Hope to see a lot of you in 2005!

I live in Savage with my wife, Jodie, and daughter Morgan (born 1995). My other daughter, Siobhan is now 19+ and attends McNally Smith Music College in St. Paul. She also performs around town (vocals and guitar) and is working on her first commercial record, expected out in the spring of '06. We also have two old cats and one young long-haired wiener dog.

I work for RBC Dain Rauscher in Minneapolis as a senior operations manager. I've been in brokerage operations since I was 19 and don't know how to do anything else!

I enjoy gardening, cycling, fishing, running (OK, "enjoy" is an overstatement here),and pretty much anything outdoors. My latest adventures include organizing the 2006 World Championships in Women's Bandy (Roseville, MN), coaching the US team in said event, and training for the 2006 Marathon of the Sands, a 7 day, 155 mile run across the Sahara Desert where one carries all one's provisions on their back for the week (Yes, it's that one you saw on TV where people's feet fall off and stuff). Yes, I have my will and life insurance in order.

There is no "spare" time...only different kinds of active time. Looking forward to Class of 85 Golf Outing Round Two this summer...Paul W???

Other: This is an update from the last posting. Well, so much has happened in the last 3-4 years. I think I have done more growing up in a two-year period than I have the rest of the time. I was called to active duty service (with many others) in 2003, made a couple trips to the desert, and learned how incredibly import everything in life was to me. Let me just say this. Do not ever be embarrassed or ashamed of who you are or what you have; compared to what I have seen, we have everything! During my two-year absence from the university the departments for which I had worked conveniently forgot about me. So now I work for the Air Force Reserves as a civilian. This is a good thing; I still get to be a teacher/trainer without all of the politics. Plus I like the people there and it is a good place to work. I finally got married to the most intelligent, kind hearted, attractive, smart-a** I know. She puts up with my bunk and dishes it right back. Her name is Kathryn Terrell, though now she goes by Kate Mikonowicz. No children yet, but with a good job locked away, I have run out of excuses not to have them. I cannot wait to see everyone this summer and do a bit of celebrating life with him or her! Hope all is well with you.

Other: Thought it was time for an update. After 17 years at MJSK, I was let go and I am now at Ameriprise, as a Sr. Business Analyst.

When I am not at work, I love to dig in the dirt and to be outside, with my 2 Old English Sheep Dogs. Because of them I have learned to not dislike the cold weather so much, as we are at the dog park almost everyday. Which is a must or they would drive me crazy being cooped up all winter.

i went to kansas for college and met my husband there. we got married in 1990 and moved to fort collins colorado. he got transfered to lincoln nebraska in 1991 and we have made this our home. i majored in finance and worked full time in banking and finance for 10+ yrs. my husband works for chrysler. we had our son, alex, in 1995, and he is an only child. i decided to quit work in 1997 to stay at home. alex is in about every sport but excels at baseball, basketball, and football. says he will be a husker someday ! heck i didnt' even know who the huskers were until we moved to nebraska. and yes, i am sort of a fan! alex keeps me busy though and through my husband's job we have been able to travel and see some pretty amazing places.

Other: Hi everyone! Yes I still live in Richfield with my wife Katy and we have 4 kids in the RHS school system. I have been to Eagle Bluff with the RMS 6th grade 4 times with last year being my last visit with my daughter Danielle, what a blast!

Mike is a a Jr. at RHS this coming year and Aaron and Steven are going to be freshmen. Danelle is going into 7th at RMS. Richfield still has some of the best teachers around after all these years!

I have my own Custom Electronics Sales & Installation company based out of Richfield ( I put in Home Theaters and etc.). I have been doing this for about 3yrs now and really enjoy the field. My partner is based out of Denver Colorado so the family packs up and goes to his place during spring break to go skiing, we got caught in a thunder/snow storm this year at 8,000 ft what an experience.

I enjoy bumping into classmates around Richfield and catching up on current events. See you all at the reunion!

Other: Commercial Insurance Rating Team Leader for Western Nat'l. Ins. in Edina, MN. Three children: Madeline (b. 1996), Keith (b. 1999 d. 1999) and Noah (b. 2003). I like to spend my free time going camping, biking, x-country skiing, swimming, gardening, rubberstamping, playing on the computer (especially e-Baying!) and going out with my friends.

Since graduating, I just stayed in town and got a full-time job in insurance (I know: snore!). That led to a pretty good career in my field, so I really can't complain. Got married in Nov. of 1988 and until 1994, we lived in Richfield by the airport, but then got bought out and moved a little further from the noise to St Louis Park. Now when planes go over, we don't have to stop talking.

We had our Madeline in Aug of 1996, Keith in June of 1999 and Noah last October. We lost Keith at 9 days to complications from several congenital heart defects that surgery couldn't correct. It was tough, but we dealt with it and have learned to live with it.

Other: Still hanging out in the wild, wild, west. After moving out to Laramie and using the Air National Guard to help me get through college, I was selected for pilot training. Spent two years getting trained and moving all over the place. Back to Laramie in 1995, decided to give the Guard a full time run and moved to Cheyenne in 1996. Started collecting rental houses in 1997. Was hired for my first ever full time job in 2000!

These days I spend as much time outside as possible. Hiking, camping, golfing, mountain biking and hanging at the cabin in the mountains seems to take up most of my time. My two dogs (Pistol Pete and Calamity Jane) are expecting puppies this year so that will by my attempt at parenthood. Thank God I can get rid of them in 6 weeks : )

I still keep in very close contact with Todd Waller from class of '84. He and his lovely family come out at least once a year for camping etc. but other than that, I just keep on keeping on.

I'm looking forward to the 20 year this summer. I had better take some golf lessons though...

Other: Gid-day mates. I went to live in N.Y.C. after high school to find myself but I found my Aussie bride. We have been living in on the Gold Coast in tropicial Queensland for 12 years now and have 4 kids. Sage-8 Georgia-6 Nicolaas-4 and Grace-2. I work on an Island at a Conrad Hilton Casino. Linda is an at home mom and does a great job. The Australian Gov. pay's her an allowance to stay at home and look after the young ones. We both volunteer at school and I coach T-ball and still play hockey 2 times a week. We camp on the beach alot and the kids love to fish on high tide because heap more fish about and you can't get them out of the surf ever. Our Christmas is the hottest time of the year. We got our kids boogieboards, flippers, goggles and suncream they can ride their bikes they get from santa on the day. No snow to stop them. It is the reverse of how I grew up. We have a whale migration that come past every year. Spiders the size of a kids' hand. There are lizards not squirrels in our palms and gardens. Parrots are our local birds. You can get burnt from the sun in 15 minutes. And no our kids don't kids Kangaroos to school. Sorry Can't get there this year but if you are lucky enough to come down under feel free to drop us a line. I would like to see some photos of the party if someone could E-mail me some that would be great....Ghow for now

Other: I am living in Bolingbrook, Illinois with my 12 year old daughter, Miranda, and our cats, Jack and Rose. I miss Minnesota in the summer, but can't say that I miss those winters!

I teach American Literature and Theatre at Bolingbrook High School and love every minute of it. I also direct the plays and musicals. I recently earned my master's degree in educational curriculum and instruction. When I am not at BHS, I am helping out with Miranda's marching band, her Girl Scout troop, or engaging in various other chauffer duties.

Other: I headed north in the fall of 1985 and attended Bemidji State University. I started out with an elementary education major, but switched to Secondary: English major, French minor after I was told by my advisor that continuing to take French with an El Ed major was like getting a bassoon certificate. After I graduated, spring of '89, I met Brian, we were engaged in November and married March of 1990. We have moved from Crystal, to Buffalo, to Plymouth, to Paynesville, to Grove City (hobby farm), to Monticello. We have had a child at every move: Jonathan, age 12, Angela, age 10, Heather, age 8, Renee, age 5, and Lydia, age 2. I worked in the Buffalo schools as a para but have been a stay-at-home mom ever since Jon was born. Family keeps me busy! How do I summarize 20 years briefly????!!! Other: Hi everyone! It's hard to believe that we will be together again for our "20th" reunion! I can still remember our last dance together in the RHS gym the night of our all night party - we were all in a huge circle holding hands. I of course think of Gina Spencer when this memory comes to mind. I have been married for 13 years now to Craig Stevens, we have two great kids, Alexandra 11, and Tyler 5 years old. They both keep us very busy with sports and other activities they are involved in. I have worked at GMAC/RFC in Richfield for about 7 years now as an Operations Supervisor and can say I really enjoy my job! Life has been good, I feel very lucky! Look forward to seeing you all at the reunion and catching up!

Other: Well, I hope ya'll don't mind me posting here -- our family technically moved out of the Richfield School District (so I'm not an alum by strict definition), but since I have/had so many friends/neighbors (and since I spent so many years in the Richfield Schools)... what the heck... I figured I'd post something.... Graduated 1985 from Washburn (Mpls), then went through the US Marine Corps (Infantry all the way, baby...!) -- got promoted 3 times in 7 months, and then, God knows why, managed to keep myself in minor trouble until I finally got booted out. I actually feel pretty badly about this now, but I expect we all have a few dumb things we've done over the years.... Spent a year at KBEM-FM, also worked as a Chemical Compounder... worked at a paper mill... worked at an auto parts manufacturer... ran a shift in the Shipping Dept @ Brown & Bigelow for a couple of years... was also a Stockbroker for (approx) 3 years at a couple of local firms, was part of the Underwriting team(s) for a couple of stocks still listed on the NASDAQ; now working at Andersen Windows. Lived for a year in Bermuda. Played poker for a few years, did very well with that (it IS just a math game, after all)... discovered the sport of "Submission Wrestling," and spent a few years with that. Trained with two UFC fighters, which is lots of fun, if you don't mind getting beat-up a lot. Now, closing in on age 40, it turns out that I DO mind -- and those guys are a whole lot tougher than I am... I really wish I'd discovered the sport earlier in life; it turns out I'm VERY slick on the mat -- it's like I just completely understood the whole game in a flash -- and I never knew that I had a real talent for something like this... there's nothing like discovering that you're really good at something that you're just too old to pursue. Oh, well... I truly hope you all are well...! I'll post an eMail address; say howdy if you like...!

Other: After graduation I wanted to go into Psychology, but after learning to windsurf in ’86, I decided it would be way more fun to live in a van and go windsurfing every day. So, I’ve been chasing the wind around and working as little as possible. Went to Normaldale for a year (learned nothing), Dakota County Tech (Refrigeration), and Henn Co. Tech (steam eng.). STILL working at the “Legion of Doom” in Richfield doing building maintenance (22 yrs). I have not been able to find another employer that will let me leave whenever it’s windy!

Got married in Maui in 98’ to Michelle (Blaine 88’) and produced a boy (Ian) in 2000. In winter I’m out on Tonka kiteskiing or at Buck Hill with Ian. In summer I’m windsurfing and kitesurfing. July is spent in the Columbia River Gorge “living in a van down by the river”. If it’s not windy I’m skateboarding, wakeboarding, or fishing.

I hope to someday move to Maui and live in a van full time. The wife is not down with this. So, you may see Ian and I on one of those “Have You Seen Me” flyers soon.

Other: After graduation, I decided I would set a career path in the medical field. I eventually ended up in Patient Finance. I have remained in that field in one capacity or another since 1991. Most recently, I am working as the Clinic Manager of a Family Practice Clinic in Brooklyn Center, MN. My husband Bob and I married in 1993. He is from White Bear Lake, MN. We are blessed with two beautiful children. Kyle,(11)is going into the 5th grade this year and our daughter, Rachael (9)is a 3rd grader. Truly, they are my absolute pride and joy. Its somewhat surreal when I think that 20 years have past. It feels like yesterday we were walking across the stage to begin our own personal journeys in life, each not knowing what was ahead, but I say..Wow what a ride! I was excited to read all of the stories of success that have come from the student body of 1985. It was so nice to see many of you at our class reunion in 2005. For those of you I didn't get to see, I will fill you in on what I have been doing.

After living in Richfield for 17 years, I headed to UW-Stout, where I receieve my B.S. in 1988, in Family and Consumer Education/Food Service and Nutrition.

I married Chuck in 1988, and we moved to Thorp, WI. I taught at Owen-Withee High School. In 1990 I commuted to UW-River Falls and finished my M.S. degree in Elementary Education.

I have been a teacher for the Barron Area School System, since 1991. I have taught Title One, First Grade, Third Grade, and the Academy of Reading and Math. "Kids are my business!"

Chuck and I have been married for nineteen years, and we have two sons. Spencer is 13 and Scott is 11. They are really into sports, so our lives are really busy! One of my greatest joys in life is being a MOM! I also have a "soft spot" for Golden Retrievers. Curretly, we have two: Sunny Sky...and Reggie White.

In my free time I love being outside, lifting weights, hiking, listening to music, inline skating, reading, traveling, and being a "beach bum." Over the years I've had fun running Grandma's marathon, 1/2 marathons in WI and MN, the St. Paul winter carnival races, and I still continue to do inline marathons with my younger sister Kathy each year.

I have great memories of Richfield, and I cherish the time I get to spend there, visiting my family and friends. One of my favorite spots is still Lake Harriet.

And yes, I'm a Packer fan now, being that I've lived in WI for more years than MN. (You can't beat Lambeau field and the Packer fans!)
The fun times at Lambeau remind me of the old "Met Center."

God has blessed me in so many ways. I've had such a great life on Earth, and I've met so many wonderful people. Because you are reading this, you are one of those people in my life! I look forward to our future...class of 1985!

Other: Currently I'm an I.S. Mgr. for a radiology group in Mpls. I've been married since 10/98 to a wonderful man named Steve. We have a black lab/german shep. puppy,who is our only child right now.

I still enjoy golfing and playing volleyball, and still have a love for music. (I guess that's one reason I fell in love with Steve-he plays the drums.)

It's been great reading everyone's messages, so I thought I'd join in on the fun. 17 years ago I became paralyzed and although it may seem difficult, I've actually enjoyed the many opportunities this has presented. It seems that every year life just gets better. What might not surprise anyone who knew me in high school and my extensive 1/2 year of college attendance, is that for the past nine years I've lived a mile away from the Coors brewery. (how convenient) But what may shock most is that now I'm a deacon at the church our family is involved with and I dedicate most of my spare time volunteering for a veterans service organization called the Paralyzed Veterans of America. I've been married for four years to a sweetie from Oklahoma (Angela) and we have 2 1/2 year old boy (William). I spend many of my days enjoying family, playing various wheelchair sports, laughing, serving our nation's heroes and appreciating just how lucky I am. I doubt we'll make it for the reunion because we just spent a week in MN, but please e-mail to keep in touch. Enjoy!

Other: Hi all, I'm sorry I can't make to the 20th, but I hope everyone has a wonderful time. My parents moved from Richfield a year after I graduated. I was thinking about it recently and I've bounced around a lot in the last 20 years. The best was living in Brooklyn, NY. It goes without saying the apartment was extremely small, and extremely expensive. The only significant brush with fame I had there was saying hi to Nipsy Russell on the corner of 57th and 9th Ave on my way home from work. In February I moved to Delaware and I'm bored silly, so feel free to visit! Fortunately the beach is only 1.5 hrs away. I also golf with my cousin when I can. Most of my family is still in MN so I do get home when I can. Anyone from Young Life remember Julie Comstock? I still hang out with her, she lives in VA near Washington DC.

Married with 4 children, all girls, ages 14, 12, 5, and 3. Finally gave up trying for that boy!! My husband spends most of his free time working in his big garage(keeps his sanity!) We also have 2 horses, 2 rabbits, and 1 dog. Love the quiet country life! Will never move back into the city!

Had a great time at the 20 Year Reunion!!
