I was the store manager of a mall retail store for nearly three years. Currently I am attempting to leave retail altogether, but it's difficult because I do not have a college degree. I'm not sure retail is really ideal for me because I don't especially like people. I've had poems and stories published in several magazines, webzines, collaborative zines and small anthologies, but I highly doubt I have the talent or the inclination to ever write professionally. Maybe I'll return to school, but I'm not sure. I have no idea what I'd study, as my areas of interest range from interior design to funeral directing. I live in a surprisingly inexpensive apartment with a genius man, a schizophrenic cat that was named after Hannibal Lecter, and my extensive collection of carnivorous plants. This website makes me feel old. Why are people who graduated in 2003 already nostalgic for highschool? I'm certainly not.
