Comments: What a great website and resource! I just stumbled into the "Woodshed" while surfing for jobs in Minnesota. My wife, Linda, our American Eskimo dog, Kiska, and I are dreaming of a little home in the Minnesota countryside. So, if you know of any History/Social Studies faculty openings at ANY Minnesota community college or university, please let me know. I have a Ph.D., M.A., and B.A. in American History (focus on 20th c.), a B.A. minor in English, 3 yrs. of university level teaching experience, paper presented and published, and anticipate publishing my doctoral dissertation (entitled: "Somebody Got Drowned, Lord: The Great Okeechobee Hurricane Disaster of 1928"). I love writing and research, but really want to devote my life to teaching. So, if you, or your readers, can assist me in this, I would be most grateful.

Comments: Lved the PICs. I grew up in Duluth and left when I was 18. My Grandmother lived on Park Point and I spent many days beach combing during all seasons. I even would go out on the ice and watch the ice breaker.

Duluth and the area to me is still "God's Country"
