Webmaster's Note: Thanks for your praise. :-) No, the Woodshed is not funded. I pay for it all out of my own pocket, and quite honestly, I am nearing a point where I may have to just give up on the thing because I can't afford it. I live by myself in a mobile home that is rotting out from under me... I drive a car that has 140,000 miles on it. Those things, coupled with the fact that my computer is old (Pentium 75 running Windows 3.11) and on its last legs may spell the demise of the Shed. I have recently added banner ads in an attempt to offset the cost of the site, but so far I've made a whopping $5.00 with them. People don't want to pay for this stuff, and most don't even want to know about the fact that even a homespun site like this one does cost money to maintain. I would welcome any sponsors or donations I could get. :-)

Comments: Hello from Little Rock, Arkansas! I am searching for family tree information on the Deckers. Did a search and you were at the top of the list!
Webmaster's Note: I wish I had more information on the Decker side of my family. All I know is that they came from Germany to Ohio, and then migrated to Kansas. My grandpa, somewhat of a black sheep, traveled around the country and ended up here in Minnesota. There are still some of our Deckers left in Kansas in the Scandia area. I don't know if any stayed in Ohio, or if any other Ohio or Kansas Deckers migrated elsewhere. I would imagine that they did.
