We have a new attraction in Lanesboro and a event on November 27-28. Both of these have their own web pages. If possible we would like you to post the provided description and small jpg image to their respective url’s.
LANESBORO MILLENNIAL BRIDAL CROWN To celebrate the approaching millennium, Cornucopia Art Center will exhibit the newly commissioned Lanesboro Millennial Bridal Crown. The Lanesboro Millennial Bridal Crown was designed and constructed by Lanesboro artist Elizabeth Bucheit. The design of the crown is contemporary but honors the ancient Scandinavian tradition of the community bridal crown, used by all the brides in a village. The Millennial bridal crown, incorporating ancient and traditional design elements in a modern way, was funded in part by a grant from the Southeast Minnesota Arts Council. http://www.crowntrout.net/crown/crown.html
